Annual Heritage, Harvest, & Horse Festival

When: Saturday, October 4th, 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Where: Fort Ticonderoga

Step back in time at Fort Ticonderoga’s annual Heritage, Harvest, & Horse Festival. Spend the day exploring the King's Garden, where heirloom apple trees and fresh produce abound, offering a taste of the region’s agricultural heritage. The whole family can enjoy exciting horse and working animal demonstrations, and for a playful challenge, navigate the Heroic Corn Maze. You can also browse a farmers market featuring local food, beverages, and crafts, making it the perfect place to find a unique souvenir. Don't forget that your ticket also includes daily Fort Ticonderoga programs, like the scenic Carillon boat tour, rounding out a day of historical exploration and outdoor fun. Lake Champlain History Ride

Where: Crown Point State Historic Site

5th Annual Machines & Michigans Cruise In Car Show

When: Sunday, October 5th, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Where: Hunter Way Farm, Moriah

Rev your engines for the 5th Annual Machines & Michigans Cruise In Car Show. Every year, this event is a must-see for car enthusiasts, featuring a fantastic lineup of vintage automobiles. Penfield AppleFolkFest

Where: Penfield Homestead Museum, Crown Point

Fall Pie Social

When: Sunday, October 12th, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Where: North Star Underground Railroad Museum, Ausable Chasm

Fall Craft and Vendor Fair

When: Saturday, October 18th, starting at 9 a.m.

Where: Essex County Fairgrounds, Westport

Held at the Essex County Fairgrounds, this event features a wide array of crafts and goods from local vendors, giving you a chance to find unique items you won't see anywhere else. What makes this fair extra special is the "Trunk or Treat" activity, which adds a festive, family-friendly twist. It's a wonderful opportunity to support local artists and businesses while the kids enjoy some Halloween fun.
