Thai Festival in Honor of the 1919 Visit of Prince Mahidol and Miss Sangwan

  • Essex County Historical Society

Join us for a day of cultural celebration and historical remembrance marking the 106th anniversary of the 1919 visit of Prince Mahidol of Songkla and Miss Sangwan Talapat to Essex County, New York—an early chapter in the royal family’s deep connection to the United States.

The festival will feature traditional Thai food, music, dance, educational exhibits, and community activities in tribute to the royal couple’s legacy and their future contributions to public health and education in Thailand.

All are welcome. Admission is free.
