It’s spring in the Ticonderoga area!
Along with warmer temperatures comes a feeling of energy and renewal. This sensation can be found most evident at our local eateries and restaurants. With updated hours of operation, seasonal menus, fresh ingredients, and ever-changing specials, dining in the Ticonderoga area is always an exciting experience.
We can’t talk about vibrant changes to the Ticonderoga area dining landscape without mentioning one of the newest restaurant additions, Paper & Pencil. Located at 117 Burgoyne Road, this completely rehabilitated building was a highly anticipated, multi-year project. When you take one step inside it is clear that it was worth the wait.
Paper & Pencil’s décor embraces the building’s industrial origins while maintaining a sense of comfort and style. Its unique location along the LaChute River boasts Ticonderoga’s only waterfront dining option. As for Paper & Pencil’s menus, they are updated regularly by season and many of their ingredients are provided by area farms and regional producers. Their menu isn’t the only thing that keeps things exciting at Paper & Pencil. Between happy hour specials, brunch offerings, lineup of live music and other special events, you never know what they may be cooking up!

Burgoyne Grill – The team at the Burgoyne Grill at the Best Western Plus Ticonderoga Inn and Suites is stepping into spring and summer with new hours and will be debuting a new menu. Now is a great time to catch new dishes and flavors!
Burleigh’s Luncheonette – Burleigh’s Luncheonette is rolling into warmer weather with a recently updated menu. This, along with their daily specials and homemade desserts, makes Burleigh’s a Ticonderoga tradition.
Champ Café – Exciting news: Champ Café will be reopening this spring after a winter hiatus! Guests can expect delicious coffee specials in a friendly atmosphere that will be a great way to kickstart their day.
The Crab Shack – Located in Crown Point, The Crab Shack will be returning for another season beginning Memorial Day weekend. Known for their seafood, chicken wings, and libations, The Crab Shack also regularly hosts karaoke nights.
Dunkin Donuts – There’s something fresh brewing at Dunkin this spring. Fun flavors like the Dunkalatte and Pistachio Swirl are available for drinks and the Chicken Bacon Croissant Stuffer, Ham and Swiss Sliders and Cotton Candy Donuts are here to crush those snack cravings. Hurry in before they’re gone!
Eddie’s Restaurant – Eddie’s Restaurant opened for the season after the Easter holiday. Stop in and let Beth and Dave pamper you with their mix of delicious cocktails, nightly dinner specials, and fan-favorite menu items.
Employee’s Mutal Association (EMA) – This cozy, classic bar and grill will keep your palate interested visit after visit with their ever-changing specials and fresh spins on favorite dishes. There’s always something new to try – and of course, wish you could have again!
Fort Ticonderoga – America’s Fort Café at Fort Ticonderoga allows guests the opportunity to sit and relax all while enjoying a beautiful view of Lake Champlain and a meal made with ingredients from the King’s Garden and local sources when in season. There are also Grab and Go options for those who would like to enjoy a picnic elsewhere on the grounds or to be enjoyed while taking in the views atop Mount Defiance.
Frontier Town Gateway – Frontier Town Gateway reopens in late April for another season. With a wide variety of menu options available throughout the day, you are sure to find a new favorite each time you visit!
Hot Biscuit Diner – When you think of the Hot Biscuit Diner think of comfort food. Whether you’re grabbing one of their mouth-watering daily specials or a tried and true menu item, their food will have you coming back for more!
Knight’s Banquet Hall & Catering – The Knight’s Banquet Hall at the Knight’s of Columbus building (103 Montcalm St., Ticonderoga) has a jam-packed calendar through the spring and summer seasons. From chicken and biscuit dinners and their steak and lobster bake to their weekly Sunday Social gathering, there is sure to be something delicious cooking by the Knight’s crew.
Ledge Hill Brewing Co. – Ledge Hill Brewing Co. continues to keep things fresh this spring with a lineup of live music, food specials, and beers on tap. Be sure to follow their social media and be in the know for what’s flowing at Ledge Hill this season.
Madden’s Pub – Grab a seat at the always beautifully decorated Madden’s Pub and enjoy one of their seasonal specials and cocktails. Or enjoy a beer and some fan-favorite, hand-breaded panko shrimp while watching a game.
Marinelli’s Meats and Italian Market – Who doesn’t love a sub sandwich on a sunny day? Let the team at Marinelli’s craft you a masterpiece even Jughead would be envious of. Try one of their family-named specialty grinders. You may find a new favorite!

Seymour’s Restaurant – Seymour’s Restaurant at Ticonderoga Golf Course is gearing up for another busy season as the course celebrates their 100th anniversary. The team at Seymour’s presents a menu with a focus on fresh ingredients based on locally inspired cuisine.
Silver Bay General Store – The Silver Bay General Store is known for its daily specials and hand-crafted subs. Using the highest quality ingredients, like Boar’s Head meats, a meal from the Silver Bay General Store is always a great idea.
Silver Bay YMCA – Dining at Silver Bay YMCA is always a fun experience, but when special occasions arise, they truly know how to celebrate! This year, their Mother’s Day Brunch will not disappoint.
