Getting there
From Route 22 in Essex, head south on Route 22 and continue straight onto Jersey Road. Bear left on Leaning Road. The trailhead is on the right in about 150 yards. This is the same parking spot as the Rocky Ledges Trail.

Nature walk
The path enters the woods and turns left after about 100 yards, then it goes along the edge of a farm field before climbing steeply and meeting the Rocky Ledges Trail. Turn left to continue along the Boquet Mountain Trail.
