JOIN CHAMPLAIN AREA TRAILS IN A WORKING HIKE ON THE BOBCAT TRAIL ON FRIDAY, MARCH 29TH AT 12 P.M.

This trail is 2.4 miles out and back. Coming south from Walker Road, this trail passes by an amazing series of beaver ponds and goes through diverse woodlands before getting to a small stream crossing. It then enters a white pine forest before getting to an open meadow at the end of Ferris Road. We will focus on putting in posts for better signage. We will also tackle Honeysuckle along the way.

WHAT TO BRING: We will work with loppers and hand saws, which Champlain Area Trails can provide. Feel free to bring your own tools as well. Make sure to come with appropriate footwear for the weather, and bring gloves, water, and some snacks!

DIRECTIONS: We will meet at the trailhead on Walker Rd, 1¼ mile west of Rt 22 in Whallonsburg.Click here for Google map directions.
