Let’s Swing! Dance Lessons & Live Music at the Elizabethtown Social Center

Elizabethtown, NY – Tuesday, July 29, 2025 —

Get ready to move, groove, and connect through rhythm and dance!

The Elizabethtown Social Center invites you to a lively evening of swing dancing for all ages, starting with a one-hour beginner-friendly East Coast Swing lesson led by dance instructors Chad and Gwen Vogel, followed by live music from the Piotr Barcz Trio with special guest Ralph Lane on guitar.

From 6:00–7:00 PM, Chad and Gwen will guide dancers through the fundamentals of swing dance, including 6-count footwork, lead-and-follow communication, and even a few stylish moves to show off on the dance floor. Whether you’re brand new to swing or just brushing up your steps, this class welcomes all experience levels!

Then from 7:00–8:30 PM, the dance floor opens up to live vintage swing tunes by the Piotr Barcz Trio with special guest Ralph Lane. Bring your family, friends, or just your love of music—this is a night to dance, socialize, and soak up the feel-good vibes of classic swing.

This event is free and open to all ages, and we warmly welcome individuals and families from across the region. Donations are gratefully accepted to support future community arts and dance programming.
