Stand-Up Comedy at The Mill
On Thursday October 23rd at 7pm, The Mill will present Sam Tallent, one of the sharpest, most original rising talents in comedy today. Called "the absurd voice of a surreal generation" by the Denver Post, Tallent has appeared as a guest on popular podcasts such as Kill Tony & The Joe Rogan Experience. For the last decade, he has performed more than 45 weekends per year in North America, Asia, Australia and Europe. His acclaimed debut novel, Running The Light, heralded as the definitive book on standup comedy, is soon to be a major motion picture. Random House is set to rerelease Running the Light in commercial paperback as well as his forthcoming follow up, Petillant Brut, in hardcover in 2025.
On Saturday November 15th at 7pm, The Mill presents New York based comic Casey Balsham. Balsham has appeared at various club all over the country and as a regular at New York Comedy Club and Gotham. You may know her from one of her viral jokes, “A Message to Gen Z” or “Childbirth = Women’s Super Bowl” which have both been viewed over 20 million times and make the kids and the men real mad. She has kept busy as a warm-up comic for shows on Comedy Central as well as The Problem with Jon Stewart on Apple TV. Her debut album “Son of a Barb” hit number one on the iTunes charts and can be streamed on Spotify and Pandora.
The performances will be supper club style, taking place in the Knock, The Mill’s 21st century speakeasy tucked away in the rear of the historic building. Table seating is reserved for all performances and guests are welcome to enjoy a plant-based dinner menu and bespoke and classic cocktails throughout the evening. Tickets are available online at themilladk.com. Mature audiences only, 18+
