Snowshoe Mammal Tracking at Poke-O-Moonshine

Naturalist/outdoor educator Elizabeth Lee will lead a hike as we follow and identify mammal tracks in the snow. 

*In case of bad weather, this has a scheduled backup date of January 12th*

 What to wear and bring:  Snowshoes are required. Dress in non-cotton layers, with a windproof layer on top, a hat, and gloves/mittens, sunglasses, or goggles. Bring plenty of high-energy food and snacks, as well as warm and cold liquids. 

Address: Poke-o-Moonshine Observer's Trail Trailhead, US-9, Lewis, NY 12950. Meet at the lower trailhead on Route 9, a mile south of the former campground.  Click here for Google Map directions.
