Sky Beam Sculptures at Beggs Point Park in Essex

Build Your Own Sky Beam Sculptures! 
Sunday June 14
10 am - 12 pm and 1pm - 3pm

Come and enjoy a series of new, original, site-specific Sky Beam sculptures by Artist Mac MacDevitt in Beggs Point Park in Essex from June 13-26. The dynamic, interactive group of sculptures, rotating with the wind, will be outlined against the ever-changing vista of Lake Champlain, the sky and the distant mountains. 

Artist talk and welcome by Supervisor Ken Hughes on Saturday, June 13 at Noon. On opening weekend on both Saturday and Sunday, visitors will be invited to create their own Sky Beam sculptures. The sculptures will be on display through June 28.

This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts.
