ATC's Floating Classroom Excursion in Ticonderoga
The Adirondack Torch Club has arranged to travel on the Lake George Association's Floating Classroom for a two-hour educational event on Lake George.
Event Details:
- Cost: $30
- Limited to 25 people.
- Reservations are required with members of Torch Club given priority and their guests second priority. Email adktorch@gmail.com.
- The boat will go rain or shine unless there is a safety concern like a thunderstorm.
- Riders may bring food and drink. No alcohol or glass bottles, please.
- Afterward, we will go to a local restaurant for dinner (optional).
During this fun- and fact-filled cruise, we measure water clarity, catch zooplankton, investigate other water quality parameters — and return to shore with a whole new understanding of what it takes to keep Lake George clear and clean.
