Explore Nature with Kids Shelter Building & Nature Art

Elizabethtown, NY — The Elizabethtown Social Center is excited to host a free outdoor event for kids and teens of all ages on Sunday, November 16th from 1:00–4:00 PM. This unique experience combines hands-on survival skills with creative expression in the heart of nature.

Kids & teens will learn to build natural shelters using sticks, leaves, and other materials found in the woods. Afterward, they can explore their artistic side with leaf and bark rubbing, capturing the intricate textures and patterns of the forest in a fun, relaxed activity.

Set on the lower grounds in the woods at the Elizabethtown Social Center, this event offers a perfect opportunity for young adventurers to connect with nature, develop new skills, and enjoy an afternoon of creativity and exploration.
