Interactive Owl Walk at Twin Valleys Outdoor Education Center: Discover Nocturnal Wildlife
Owl Prowl
Join us on Friday, November 21st, at 5:30 p.m. for an Owl Prowl at Twin Valleys Outdoor Education Center!
Come learn about owls, go for a night hike, and listen for some owl hooting. We'll take an approximately 60-minute walk around Twin Valleys Outdoor Education Center. After the hike, come over to the bonfire to roast some marshmallows. This night hike is recommended for families with children ages 8 and up. Listening ears required!
DIRECTIONS: To reach Twin Valley Lane, one must travel two miles from Wadhams on County 10 to Alden Road. Twin Valley Lane is ¼ mile up Alden Road. For this event, the gate to the Education Center will be open, where you can park by the facility buildings. Click here for Google Maps directions.
WHAT TO BRING: Dress in warm layers with gloves and hats. November nights get cold! You will also need good boots for walking in the woods.
