Join Champlain Area Trails in discovering mushrooms on the Black Kettle Trail in Essex, NY.

Date: Saturday, September 13th

Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Led by Ari Rockland Miller, fungi expert, we will walk the Black Kettle Trail, a one-mile loop trail that goes through an open, mature forest, passes by a beautiful forest brook, and has some fantastic views across the valley. Discover what gourmet and medicinal mushrooms can be found in this local forest. This is a great entry point into the endlessly intriguing world of mushroom foraging! This is a beginner-level outing.

REGISTRATION: This event costs $30 and is limited to 20 participants. The fee of $30 per person goes directly to our mushroom expert.
