Join Us for a Scenic Cross-Country Ski Adventure on March 5th on the Mcauliffe Road Trail in Essex!
Event Date: Wednesday, March 5th

Location: McAuliffe Road Trail- Southern Trailhead in Essex, NY
We invite you to join us for a day of cross-country skiing along the McAuliffe Road Trail. This guided outing features nice views as we ski through a gorge overlooking the Boquet River. Enjoy the scenery as we pass through forests and pastures, including an old barn, before reaching the river in Willsboro. This approximately 3-mile round trip journey is suited for those with some prior cross-country skiing experience, offering a pleasant challenge that is both easy and moderate.
WHAT TO BRING: Dress in good winter layers for skiing. We do not provide skis but can recommend places to rent them if needed.
DIRECTIONS: Please park at the south trailhead on Jersey St., just west of the Boquet River. Click here for Google Maps directions.
