The Best 4th In The North Celebration takes place each year from July 1st – 4th in Ticonderoga. The schedule of events includes live music and entertainment, rides, games, food, and vendors in Bicentennial Park as well as a parade, a grand fireworks display. A detailed schedule is announced in May each year. The Best 4th In The North celebration costs between $2,000 – $50,000 with the majority of the funds being raised by the committee. The Town of Ticonderoga does work with the committee and provides some funding for the celebration. A variety of fundraisers for the celebration will take place yearly including the 4th of July In December BBQ, Boom, Scoot & Boogie, Mom Prom, Best 4th In The North Night at The Pub, a Coin Drop, and more.
