Lace Up Your Shoes for a Scenic Adventure at Crown Point!

Experience the beauty of the Lake Champlain Region with a run or leisurely walk at the historic Crown Point State Historic Site! The Champlain Bridge 5K - 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk invites you to explore stunning trails, winding roads, and open fields, all while taking in the breathtaking views of the iconic Champlain Bridge and its guiding lighthouse. This event raises awareness about online safety with the Prevention Team/Safe Harbour NY Essex County and is part of the NYS Parks Wellness Challenge: “Get Offline, Get Outside”.

A Course for Everyone:

  • 5K Cross-Country: Challenge yourself on a course designed for runners. Push your limits and compete for awards! Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age category, as well as overall male and female winners.
  • 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk: Perfect for families and those seeking a more relaxed experience, this option follows a scenic route along the 5K course. Enjoy the views at your own pace!

Awards (5K Only):

Compete for the top spot in your age group! Age categories for both male and female participants are: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.

Registration Information:

Adult Participants (18+):

  • $25.00 if you register by September 1st
  • $30.00 after September 1st

Youth Participants (18 and under):

  • FREE!

Important Event Details:

Start Time: 10:00 AM

Registration & Packet Pickup: 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM at the Picnic Pavilion. This applies to both pre-registered and same-day participants.
