Champ Day, The Lake Champlain Monster Festival

Join the Moriah Chamber of Commerce for Champ Day Festival 2026, a lively community celebration inspired by the legend of the Lake Champlain Monster. The festival takes place on Saturday, August 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the beautiful Bridgeview Harbour Marina in Port Henry, New York.

Bring the whole family for a morning of fun on the waterfront featuring Penelope the Clown, a crowd-favorite cardboard boat race, music from DJ Dan Whitford, classic carnival games, and a wide variety of vendors and food. Festivalgoers can also enjoy a special book signing for “Lucy and the Lake Monster,” celebrating the enduring mystery and charm of Champ.

With lakeside views, local flavor, and activities for all ages, Champ Day Festival is a perfect way to celebrate summer in Port Henry.
