BETA's Slow Your Roll Ride -- Cobble Hill

NO DROP | CASUAL PACE | SMILES OVER MILES

These mountain bike rides are perfect for folks who are newer to the sport, getting back into it after an injury, or just plain slow. No judgement -- if we're not there right now, we've certainly been there. See new trails, meet new people, and get outside in the great Adirondacks this season by joining us for a fun ride and a hang out session at the trailhead afterwards.  Register Here.

 

WHERE: Elizabethtown Trail Center, Cobble Hill, Elizabethtown -- 8517 High St, Elizabethtown, NY 12932

 

WHEN: Meet at 5:30pm, start the ride by 6:00pm, return to the trailhead around 7:30pm (+/- 30 min), hang out at the trailhead until you feel like leaving (we'll probably head home by 9:00pm).

 

WHO: Leaders include Loren, Glenn, Kaley, Patrick, Rachel, and Bob. We've got a full crew! That's great -- means we can split into many different groups so everyone gets to go on a ride specifically suited for their skills, fitness, and interest.

 

THE RIDE: No-drop, mellow pace on a fun-forward route built for beginners. Cobble Hill is a smaller, quite friendly trail network that can be connected to Blueberry Hill for those wanting more miles or more challenge -- we'll find the best routes for our group's skill, fitness, and interest when we're all together. We estimate the ride will be about 1-1.5 hours.

 

THE HANG: After the ride, we'll have a grill and chill sesh under the Elizabethtown Trail Center pavillion. We'll have some goodies to share, but please feel free to bring your own dish and/or elixir to enjoy alone or share with the group. The pavillion has lots of picnic tables so there are plenty of seats.

 

TECHNOLOGY & AMMENITIES: E-bikes are allowed at both Cobble Hill and Blueberry Hill. There is a bathroom with running water in the Trail Center.
