Annual Essex 6.5k Firecracker Run/Walk for High Peaks Hospice

This festive and fun race takes place every year in the beautiful National Historic town of Essex-on-Lake Champlain on the 4th of July. After the race, there's a Kids Fun Run where all the children get free ice cream and can watch the parade. This year, Essex is closing off Main St. for shopping, eating and events  so there's plenty to see and do for the holiday. T-shirts, medals and prizes are given away to entrants and age category winners. Come and enjoy the race and small town charm of Essex this 4th, all for a good cause!
