Astronomer Jacqueline van Gorkom to speak at Westport Library

Totality: The Next Eclipse

Join Columbia University Astronomer, Jacqueling Gorkom at the Westport Library on .......at 6:00 pm. 

She will describe fun and safe ways to watch the eclipse and even explore some interesting things to look at even if it turns out to be cloudy that day.  She will review what a solar eclipse is and why total solar eclipses are a rare phenomenon, as well as their role in some myths.

Questions, comments and light refreshments to follow.
