Turtle Island Cafe is owned and operated by husband and wife team Mimi Lane and Chef David Martin. Chef David is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park. He views eating out as a celebration of the meal through imagination. He pairs this passion with a desire to use local fresh ingredients. Driven by the food, he loves to develop new creations. Chef Martin's cuisine has been featured at the James Beard House in Manhattan and Napa Valley Wine Auction.
Turtle Island Cafe is housed in the old Willsboro Pharmacy; built is 1886. The dining room features the original tin ceiling and hardwood. Mimi & David opened in 2004 creating fabulous food in a casual and friendly environment.
