Traditionally, we look forward to Memorial Day Weekend as the kickoff to summer. The temperatures are rising, the pool is open and burgers are on the grill! It’s our first taste of what we can look forward to for the next three months – what we have been looking forward to after a long cold winter. In the Ticonderoga Area, we know that Memorial Day Weekend means so much more than that. It is a time to reflect upon our freedom and all that was given for us to get here.
