Fresh roasts and paint strokes

There are a few joys in my life I can’t go without. The first bloom of spring, comfy oversized sweaters, and a good cup of coffee, of course paired with a visit to my favorite art galleries! Coffee paired with any adventure always lifts my spirits, but the art galleries around the Lake Champlain Region make this duo a dream come true. The beautiful landscapes, waterfront, and vibrant farm life around the region have served as the perfect inspiration for local artists to flaunt their talents on and off the canvas. So, grab your cup of joe, or cold brew, and let’s explore together!

JAMBS on Main

Jambs on Main is the place to go for exotic coffee beans with an Adirondack twist! On Main Street in Westport, sit down in their cozy and naturally lit storefront. For espresso fanatics, enjoy their Espresso Bean Special Blend, or for your coffee fix, Indian Monsooned Malabar is brewing behind the counter, ready for you to sip! Self-touted as “distinctive and bold,” JAMBS on Main is proud to brew their coffee on the only S7 Roaster in the North Country.

Essex Ice Cream Cafe

Open when the summer heat hits town, Essex Ice Cream Cafe, now operated by Champlain Peony Company, brews the best coffee during the warmer months and it's just perfect for a sunny stroll. While their delicious ice cream may be in the business name, their made-to-order drinks are just as iconic. Indulge in espresso, cappuccino and other coffee drinks prepared using gourmet Intelligentsia coffee beans.

From fresh baked breads, cookies and pizza, to soups and sandwiches, the store front packs a punch! On top of all of these delicious offerings lies freshly brewed espresso and coffee. Unwind in the cozy atmosphere of the bakery, or set out on the town with your snacks.
