Snowfort Books is thrilled to welcome Meadowmount, the world-renowned music school for violin, viola, and cello located right here in Westport. Join us for an intimate recital nestled among the shelves in our acoustically warm bookstore.
The performance begins at 1 PM on Sunday, June 29, 2025. Light refreshments will be served.
Join us from 3:00-5:00 pm on June 26, for an afternoon of captivating stories about fantastical adventures and monstrous creatures, followed by a fun introduction to the classic tabletop role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons, led by Dungeon Master Rachel Dowty Beech. In your first foray into the world of D&D, you will learn the basic rules of embodying a character and working together to fight dragons and solve mysteries.

Meet Tom Cipullo, composer of MAYO BUCKNER, learn how he wrote this fascinating opera, and hear some excerpts from the show as well of some of his other operatic music sung by Seagle Festival Emerging Artists

Adirondack History Museum June 19, 7:00 pm
In 1775, the Continental Congress created the Northern Department of the Continental Army to oversee northern New York and surrounding regions. This area saw the first major expansion of the Revolutionary War and bore the brunt of British attacks, leading to the pivotal American victory at Saratoga. Today, the modern Northern Department connects historic sites across New York, Vermont, and Québec to share the powerful legacy of this region during the Revolution’s 250th anniversary.
Come load up on fresh, handmade, organic and local whole grain pasta at Trigo in Westport.
We will be featuring a special Italian-themed menu with local foods from area farms.
Bike the Barns will take place on the heels of the annual Adirondack Harvest Festival, set for Saturday, September 20 at the Essex County Fairgrounds in Westport.
Along with out Pasta Night, these events feature a variety of local food producers and regional groups that support them.
