Ticonderoga was a vital link in the supply chain keeping an American Army alive at the gates of Quebec City in January 1776. In this one-day living history event, explore the many needs of an army in winter from shot to shoes. See how soldiers and teamsters kept sleds running over the ice of Lake Champlain to keep Continental Army soldiers fed and clothed in Canada.

December 7 - 11:00 a.m.: The Noble Train to Lake George – Witness the reenactment of the critical first leg of Henry Knox’s journey. Beginning in the town of Ticonderoga, join Fort Ticonderoga as the largest number of oxen- and horse-driven period vehicles are assembled since December 1775. At the corner of modern-day Montcalm Street and Champlain Avenue, the reenactors will drag cannon to the shore of Lake George, where they were loaded to sail up the lake and onward to the Siege of Boston.

Join CATS for an inspiring day outdoors with Triple Crown through-hiker and author Derick Lugo, as we celebrate the beauty of nature and the art of storytelling in partnership with Champlain Area Trails. We'll kick off the event with a scenic hike of around 2 miles along the DaCy Meadow Farm Trail, allowing you to immerse yourself in the tranquil surroundings and connect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts.

Lewis Volunteer Fire Department is sponsoring a Free Family Event visit with Santa Mrs. C and his helper Elves stop at all the shops to receive special treats and visit the toy shop try Mrs C Hot Cocoa and lots of photo ops the naughty elves will want to have a snowball fight and try the Reindeer games fun for the whole family no age restrictions.
