Hosts Loree Burns and Mac MacDevitt are looking forward to welcoming all our storytelling friends to SpeakEazy Open Mic's new home at Snowfort Books in Westport on the FOURTH WEDNESDAY every month at 7pm. We are collaborating with owners Adam and Amy Robinson in their warm, friendly bookstore and community space in the old Adams Hardware building. Come and join us, check out the books and settle in with your friends and neighbors for a night of sharing or just listening to true, personal stories.

Join Champlain Area Trails for a magical Signs of Spring Walk, hosted by Champlain Area Trails, on Saturday, April 18th, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. 

Experience the wonder of Twin Valleys Outdoor Education Center as you explore the West Valley and Bones Crossing trails, meandering beneath majestic hemlocks and alongside a lively creek. This magical, family-friendly guided hike covers about 2 miles at a gentle pace, inviting you to slow down, notice, and celebrate the first signs of spring.

The Blossom Reverie Fair invites the community to celebrate spring with a relaxed and creative afternoon at Ti Arts Gallery on Saturday, April 25.

As part of NRDC’s spring theme, this special event features a free floral painting activity from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Visitors can stop in at any time during the session to learn a few simple floral painting techniques and create their own one-of-a-kind artwork on live-edge wood circles.
