The McAuliffe Road Trail is an easy, 2 mile, round trip hike. This trail is an abandoned road that is open for public use. It goes through an attractive forest paralleling the Boquet River. 

Getting there

The south trailhead is in a little park on Jersey Street, just west of the Boquet River. The north trailhead is at end of McAuliffe Road. If you want to walk or cross-country ski along the river, an alternate north trailhead is at the junction of McAuliffe and Sunset roads.
