The easy, half-mile long Noblewood Park trail begins on Route 22, 3 miles north of Essex. The trail provides access to Lake Champlain, a swimming beach, and a scenic river delta.

Noblewood Trail Trailhead: From the Lake Champlain ferry dock in the Hamlet of Essex, turn right and proceed three miles north on Rt. 22. Coming from this direction, the entrance to the park is on the right.

2 miles, RT, Easy Walk and exploration.

In certain seasons there is a fee to park inside the gate.

Snowshoeing and Cross-Country Skiing

The Noblewood nature and birding trail is open year round. Off-season admission (by foot) is free.
