Homestead Trail

Originally an old road, this 1.5-mile long trail offers an easy incline through the woods.
Getting there
The trailhead is on Cook Road, 0.75 mile west of Leaning Road, across from Boquet Mountain Trail’s south trailhead.
* Note: Cook Road is closed to cars in winter but open for hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing.
Hiking
Please note: This trail is closed during hunting season. The trail has dense sections native undergrowth before coming up to more open woods. You'll descend to a small creek before joining the Beaver Flow trails, which also connect to the Black Kettle trail. See website link for detailed maps of the trail system.
