October 20, 7:00 pm:  Microplastics in Lake Champlain 

Microplastics, less than 5 mm in diameter, are a growing concern in Lake Champlain. SUNY Plattsburgh professor Danielle Garneau and local educator Elizabeth Lee will present the research on microplastics released by water treatment plants and the danger they pose.
