Grange Lyceum: Roxham Road: Irregular Border Crossing and Local Responses

The Whallonsburg Grange presents their Winter Lyceum Series.  On Tuesday, February 25, 7:30 pm will be Roxham Road: Irregular Border Crossing and Local Responses.

Roxham Road, a dead-end street in Champlain, has become a major issue in US and Canadian politics over the last three years. SUNY Plattsburgh researchers Amy Mountcastle and Liz Onasch join Champlain mayor Janet McFetridge to discuss this border crossing into Canada, used by 48,000 asylum-seekers.

$5 is the suggested donation and students are admitted free.
