The long-awaited return of our French + Indian War encampment to Crown Point State Historic Site! We're looking forward to hosting our enthusiastic living history participants and encourage the public to spend the day wandering, observing and learning about 18th-century military life.
We're offering some extras this year "between the battles", such as visits with the Iroquois to learn about their crafts and trade with the Europeans, the life of a villager in a military camp, kids can learn to march in formation and presentations on George Washington, Isreal Putnam and hand-drawn historical illustrations of battle sites.
