Intrigued by the wild world of mushroom foraging?
Join Ari Rockland-Miller, co-founder with wife Jenna of The Mushroom Forager, Saturday, September 28, 2019, from 10:00 am to noon and learn to identify species fruiting in the Champlain Valley area during summer.
Workshop participants will also learn strategy and technique for the ethical and sustainable harvesting of wild mushrooms.
This workshop will begin with a colorful presentation introducing foraging safety, strategy, and our region's most distinctive and delicious species. Then you will put on your foragers eyes for a guided foray, location TBD.
Because of the support of the Brooks and Joan Fortune Family Foundation, the fee for this workshop is only $20 per person. Class size is limited and advance registration is required. You can register here.
