Crown Point's 154th Memorial Day Celebration and Commemoration

“The Crown Point Memorial Day Committee is excited to be planning an in-person event for the 154th commemoration of ‘Decoration Day’.  As you may know, the last two years we have held a virtual event which was streamed on our Facebook page.  While we were honored to be able to commemorate this important holiday in this way, we realize that coming together with family and friends is a big part of the tradition and we are pleased to be able to offer that to our community once again.
We are bringing back all a full array of events with rides and entertainment in the park, fireworks, cemetery tour and parade. See full schedule below:

Sunday, May 29th
11am                     Ecumenical Church Service on steps of Congregational Church
12pm                     Park Opens: Amusement rides, food & vendors
12-5pm                 "Penelope the Clown"
1-5pm                   "Loose Monkeys” on the main stage
6-9pm                   "Grit-N-Whiskey” on the main stage

We want to thank our contributors and the Town of Crown Point, for supporting our efforts to hold this event.  This is a family friendly event.  We want to remind everyone that the true meaning of Memorial Day is to honor the soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice to ensure our freedoms.”
