Inez Milholland & Adirondack Suffrage Tour

Adirondack Architectural Heritage offers it's tour: Inez Milholland and Adirondack Suffrage led by historian Sandra Weber on Wednesday, June 5 being at 9:15 am.

Explore the deeper history of the campaign for voting rights during the late 19th and early 20th century through a visit to the Keene Valley Congregational Church, the site of many suffrage debates and meetings. We’ll also visit “Sunny Jim,” a delightful and colorful Keene Valley residence that once served as the headquarters of local suffragists. Lastly, after visiting Inez Milholland’s storied grave site in Lewis, we’ll tour her family’s former estate at the Meadowmount School of Music.

The tour will be led by historian Sandra Weber.

The tour starts at 9:15 AM and ends around 3 PM.

FEE: $45 for AARCH members and $55 for non-members.
