La Chute Riverwalk
Trail
The La Chute Trail is a 0.5 mile easy roundtrip walk along the LaChute River,
which drops 230 feet as it flows from Lake George to Lake Champlain, and
has driven mills
since 1755. |
Adirondack History

This museum features a restored fire tower, a nature trail, and The Colonial
Garden, with modern varieties of the traditional perennials and herbs, along

Belfry Mountain
A 0.6 mile easy rountrip walk along a utility truck road leads to the summit
where there are views of Lake Champlain, abandoned iron mines, and mountains. |
Noblewood
A 63 acre park and nature preserve, Noblewood offers nature trails, 3500
feets of sand beach, 2500 feet of river frontage, large wetlands and nesting
falcons near a

Coon Mountain
A 2 mile easy roundtrip hike on Adirondack Land Trust Preserve, Coon Mountain
is famous for its mysterious and craggy interior with rocky outcrops and
hemlock forests.
