Shopping in the Lake Champlain Region might be what you'd expect of quaint lakeside communities... You won't encounter oversized department stores or fast food chains on every corner. There aren't giant strip malls dominating the streets or massive parking lots. Instead you'll find an 80-year-old hardware store, a market with fresh locally grown produce, boutiques, book stores and antique and specialty shops.
