Adirondack History Center Offers Free Admission for Museum Day Live

ELIZABETHTOWN, N.Y. —The Adirondack History Center Museum is offering free admission on Saturday, September 28, 2013 for Smithsonian magazine’s 9th annual Museum Day Live!

A nationwide event, Museum Day Live! offers free admission to visitors presenting a Museum Day Live! ticket printed from their website at http://www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday. Come to the museum and discover new exhibitions including the Human Face of the Adirondacks in the Civil War, and the updated Fire tower exhibit. The award-winning Worked/Wild exhibit offers multimedia and interactive features, photographs, paintings, memoirs, objects, and videos reflecting the people and the environment of Essex County and the Adirondacks.

The Olympic Museum in Lake Placid is also participating in the Musem Day Live.
