A small parcel when compared to forest preserve tracts of the Adirondack Park, Wickham Marsh Wildlife Management Area covers over 860 acres in the town of Chesterfield. A series of trails provide access for hunters throughout the area, which includes marsh and grassland areas and provides habitat for big game such as deer and bear, as well as turkeys, wood ducks and grouse.
There are four access points for Wickham Marsh – two on Giddings Road, one on Lake Street and the other just of state Rt. 373.
