French and Indian War Encampment at Crown Point

Visit military camps beside the authentic ruins of the French-built Fort St. Frederic (1734-1759) and the ruins of the vast British 'Crown Point' fort (1759-1773; including two original stone barracks ruins), each of which are Registered National Historic Landmarks. Watch the visiting British and French soldiers, Canadian militiamen, Woodland Indians, boatmen, and civilian re-enactors at the tactical weapons demonstrations.
