By Automobile
From New York City and New Jersey
Take the NY State Thruway (I-87) North to Exit 24 (Albany). Take I-87 north (Adirondack Northway.) The Lake Champlain Region can be accessed from exits 28 to 34.
Drive time from New York City - 5 hours. From Albany: 2 hours.

From Toronto and Ottawa
Take 401 east to Cornwall Bridge. Pick up Route 37 east to Malone. Follow Route 30 south to Paul Smiths, and pick up Route 86. Continue on 86 to Lake Placid. Take Route 73 to Keene, then 9N to the Lake Champlain Region.
Drive time from Toronto: 6.5 hours. From Ottawa: 3.5 hours.

From Boston, Springfield, Hartford
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) to Albany. Pick up I-87 North (Northway.) Lake Champlain Region can be accessed from exits 28-34. Drive time from Boston: 6 hours.

From Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and points west
Take I-90 (NY State Thruway) east to Albany. Pick up I-87 north. Access the Lake Champlain Region from exits 28-34.
Drive Time From Buffalo: 6 hours.

From Montreal
Take Route 15 south to Champlain Crossing, connecting with I-87 south. The Lake Champlain region can be accessed from exits 34 south to exit 28. Drive time from Montreal: 2 hours.
